POD Talks Episode 2: Combating Rising Antisemitism

This weekend, white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups attempted to organize a "Day of Hate."  Communities across New Jersey and the nation stood together against extremism.  But, we still have a lot of work to do.

We released our latest episode of POD Talks this weekend that focuses on combating rising antisemitism.

POD talks is a project of Protecting Our Democracy, where we bring together the best minds in New Jersey and beyond to talk about some of the biggest challenges facing our democracy, institutions and personal freedoms.

Antisemitism has been on the rise both in New Jersey and nationally.  Etzion Neuer of the Anti-Defamation League, Rabbi Ariann Weitzman of B’nai Keshet Reconstructionist Synagogue, Linda Scherzer of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest, and Rabbi Mendy Carlebach of Chabad at Rutgers joined Protecting Our Democracy Chair Sean M.Spiller to discuss what is behind increasing antisemitic incidents and what we can do to combat them.
